Overview
A Dash From Home was created for the OST Composing Jam #4 hosted by Lone Rabbit. Participants were tasked with making a soundtrack for a hypothetical game in 10 days. A Dash From Home is my submission.
In the hypothetical game, A Dash From Home, the main character lives a peaceful life with their family at home. However, their home is attacked and the main character is forced to run for their life. You run from location to location, searching for a new home all whilst being chased by the ones who drove you away.
Outside of the opening and closing songs, each piece is a variation on the same base “running” motif. It’s has a few different styles, and you can learn more about each piece at the itch.io here.
